Did you read the article in Sunday’s Statesman about the $2.5M green building luxury homes being built in Rollingwood? The approach is live well and live green. Hopefully this will all be standard for the next generation … the green, not the $2.5M.
Here’s the article:
They look awesome and I am oh so curious as to how they’ll do on the market. The over $1M home market in Austin is definitely a buyers market with over a year’s inventory. But inventory of 5-star green … it’s a very short list.
Only 50-some homes have ever achieved 5-star green status in Austin and only 20-some have ever hit the market (I guess if you go through the effort and expense, you want to live in it). Two of those 20-some are currently on the market at 904 and 908 Jewell in 78704.
These homes are 5-star green and 5-star luxury and much lower than $2M at $674,900. They are fabulous 2500 sqft 4/3’s that utilized the original bungalows then added contemporary space back and up. They’re fabulous and gorgeous. Check them out at:
We have open houses pretty much every Sunday from 1-4 and are happy to arrange individual showings.
